PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce computational complexity for switching communication from communication using one transmission antenna to spatial multiplexing communication using a plurality of transmission antennas. SOLUTION: In a mobile station device 103, a received communication system control signal 401 is extracted by a communication system control signal extracting part 305, and system change for performing processing such as spatial separation or space-time decoding is performed by a receiving circuit 303. In a base station device 101, system change for performing processing such as the distribution of transmission data to a plurality of antenna systems or space-time encoding is performed by a transmission circuit 204. A parameter such as the number of spatial multiplex or modulation multivalue number is determined by using delay spread showing the temporal spread of a delay wave and reception quality estimated by the base station device 101 or the mobile station device 103 and an angular spread showing the angular spread of an incoming wave estimated by the base station device 101, and a transmission/reception system in the base station device 101 and the mobile station device 103 is changed.
