PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily connect ladder type sleepers together in a longitudinal direction at low cost in a short period of time, without executing special machining. SOLUTION: In a joint between the ladder type sleepers 3, a connecting fitting 12 is mounted by fitting a mounting recess 16a to a longitudinal beam 4 of the ladder type sleeper 3. The connecting fittings 12 facing each other are connected to each other by means of a width fixing bolt 13. Holding plates 32 and 33 are arranged between a tap bolt 31 of a clamp part 10 and a top surface of the longitudinal beam 4. A fastening force is transferred to the longitudinal beam 4 via the holding plates 32 and 33 by screwing in the tap bolt 31, and the longitudinal beam 4 is held in the state of being sandwiched between the holding plates 32 and 33 and a lower-side flange 15 of the connecting fitting 12, so that the connecting fitting 12 can be fixed to the longitudinal beam 4.
