PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for managing electronic mail with which overlapped mail and similar mail can be efficiently managed and required information can be efficiently applied to a user. SOLUTION: The structure of received electronic mail is analyzed by a mail structure analytic part 20, an electronic mail text extracted by this structure analysis is compared with the electronic mail text of already received electronic mail by a mail text comparator part 40 and when this extracted electronic mail text is equal with the electronic mail text of already received electronic mail based on this compared result, either the received electronic mail or the already received electronic mail is deleted but when these texts are similar, either the received electronic mail or the already received electronic mail is moved to a file different from a managing file for this electronic mail. |
