PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas shutoff system performing equal and high level charged service in every season. SOLUTION: The gas shutoff system comprises a flow rate detecting means 19 for detecting gas flow rate; a flow rate measuring means 20 for measuring the detected flow rate; a flow rate category judging means 21 for judging whether or not the measured flow rate belong to a specific flow rate category; a calendar means 22; a season period inputting means 23 for inputting from when to when the season is; an in-season flow rate category use judging means 25 for judging whether or not the present time coincide with the input season from the calendar means 22 and the season period inputting means 23; and an in-season flow rate category use counting means 26 for counting how much the specific flow rate category is used in the season.
