PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a post fixing structure capable of securing clearance with a building frame by restraining outward projection of a fixing metal fitting and firmly erecting and fixing a post by improving effectiveness of a machine screw, by . SOLUTION: The post 4 is erected on a waterproof pan 1 via the fixing metal fitting 2. A lower part 2a of the fixing metal fitting 2 is fixed by the machine screw from the indoor side to a dripping vertical surface 1c of the outer periphery of the waterproof pan 1. An upper part 2c of the fixing metal fitting 2 is stored inside the post 4, and the machine screw 6 is inserted into a screw hole 7 from the outside of the post 4, and is fixed to the machine screw by fastening the machine screw 6 to a screw hole 3 of the fixing metal fitting 2.
