PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dome camera device whose photographic range can be widened, while maintaining image quality. SOLUTION: A camera section 12 is provided rotatably in a tilt direction. A dome cover 16 covers the camera section 12 and is provided rotatably in the panning direction, and a dome center axis L slants to a panning axis Y. A tilt drive section 24 tilts the camera section 12. A dome drive section 18 rotates the dome cover 16. A dome drive control section controls the dome drive section 18, according to the tilt angle of the camera section 12. The dome drive control part is configured to control the angle of rotation of the dome cover 16 so that a tilt side part 80 of the dome cover 16 is disposed in the photographing direction of the camera section 12, in a specified excessive tilt region exceeding a direction perpendicular to the panning axis Y.
