PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Chinese yam digger which can reduce resistance from soil, when trailed with a tractor. SOLUTION: This Chinese yam digger having a pair of plows for digging up cultivation soil on both the sides of Chinese yam with the advance of a tractor, and further having a digging blade which is rotatably connected to the lower portions of a pair of the plow members, whose front portion is formed in a blade shape and whose rear portion is inclined is characterized by connecting the digging blade to the plow member through a pair of connection bars, attaching one end of each connection bar to the lower end of each plow member, rotatably mounting the other end of each connection bar on a spindle disposed on the back side of the digging blade, and disposing the connection bars so that the connection bars are perfectly hidden with the back side of the digging blade.
