<p>PURPOSE:To obtain an inexpensive, safe, and strong gas-absorptive deodorant by adding specific proportions of iron oxide and a higher alcohol to a chlorophyll- containing substance as the deodorant. CONSTITUTION:To the chlorophyll-containing substance, e.g., chlorella, etc., 1- 40% iron oxide and less than the same amounts of the higher alcohol, e.g., stearyl alcohol, cetyl alcohol, etc., are added to obtain the strong gas-absorptive deodorant. The deodorant, having a very high strong gas absorbability and a very high deodorizing property due to the synergistic actions of each component in terms of adsorbability, surface activity, and catalytic activity, can be manufactured at lower cost.</p> |
