PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording/reproducing apparatus which can eliminate complication in a user operation in the case of deleting the content after transferring or deleting the content without transferring.

SOLUTION: The recording/reproducing apparatus 10 includes a content storage unit 12 which stores a content received from outside, a content determination unit 13 which determines whether or not the received content is a copy once content, a reproduction history management unit for managing information about the use of the content stored in the content storage unit 12, a movement determination unit 16 for determining whether the content is made to remain based on a predetermined determination rule to the information about the use of the content for the content determined to be the copy once content, and a content movement unit 17 for deleting the content determined not to be remain by the movement determination unit 16 from the content storage unit 12.
