<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid vehicle in which decrease in engine performance can be restrained by suppressing decrease in driving torque. <P>SOLUTION: The hybrid vehicle 1 comprises an internal combustion engine 10, a MG1 (a 1st motor generator), a MG2 (a 2nd motor generator), a planetary gear 20, a control system 30. The MG1 generates electric power by the power output from the internal combustion engine 10, or starts up the internal combustion engine. The MG2 is connected to a driving shaft 26 to output power at least to the driving shaft 26. In the planetary gear 20, a crankshaft 11 of the internal combustion engine 10, a rotation shaft 61 of the MG1, and the driving shaft 26 are connected, and the power output from the internal combustion engine 10 is regulated and transmitted to the driving shaft 26. The control system 30 controls the internal combustion engine 10, the MG1, and the MG2. The hybrid vehicle 1 comprises further a flywheel, by which inertia force acted on the crankshaft 11 is varied.
