<p>The tool (6) has a frame (14) with a continuous closed surface (22) that seals against one surface (24) of a support (10) such as a vehicle door. The frame has a recess (30) in its edge that fits closely over a section (32) of the trim strip, which is itself longer than the frame. When the trim strip is in place, the tool is placed over it and held in position by handles and optionally with arms linked to the window surround. Pressure is then applied to the tool, fixing the trim strip by pressing against the whole of its convex surface.</p> |
