Disclosed in the embodiments of the present invention are a method and device for component carrier group configuration. the method comprises: a base station transmits a configuration signaling to user equipment, the configuration signaling including the group identifier of each component carrier group in at least one component carrier group and the carrier identifier of each component carrier included in each component carrier group and each component carrier group comprising multiple component carriers, and transmits a scheduling signaling including a first type group identifier to the user equipment to enable the user equipment to transmit and receive data on component carriers included in the first type component carrier group, wherein the first type group identifier being one or more group identifiers in the group identifier included in the configuration signaling and the first type component carrier group being the component carrier group corresponding to the first type group identifier. Therefore, by implementing the embodiments of the present invention, signaling overhead can be reduced when a base station schedules multiple component carriers.
