PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved solid-state image sensor for equalizing a sub-sampled analog signal and a driving method thereof. SOLUTION: When imaging a static image, an individual image signal is input for each pixel column while a switch for equalization is off and the signal is converted to a digital signal by a CDS method. When imaging a dynamic image, an equalized image signal in the same color column by the switch which is turned on is converted to a digital signal through any one of the CDS circuits.
