PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting device by using an organic EL element having an easily-bendable luminescent surface. SOLUTION: A flexible organic EL body is provided by eliminating a substrate, by forming each of luminous layers 2a and 2b into a fibriform body 7 so as to hold them with a protective body 5 and by weaving the fibriform body to form it into a cloth-like shape.
