PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information storage apparatus which performs write-in operation to a storage domain safely when a hard-disk autonomously operates as a media player. SOLUTION: This information storage apparatus sets audio-visual information recorded while viewing and listening of content on a SMART domain during the period when the USB hard-disk operates as a media player, and stores audio-visual information without performing re-write operation of FAT (File Allocation Tables). And this system stores deletion information for the deletion-designated content in the SMART domain when FAT-rewriting cannot be performed. This system deletes, from data domain, the corresponding content according to deletion information when this system is USB-connected to a computer, and rewriting operation of FAT is possible to perform.
