FIELD: measurement technology. ^ SUBSTANCE: meter can be used for producing high-speed ac voltmeters, amplitude demodulators, amplitude analyzers etc. Principle of operation of meter is based on forming square-shaped pulses from measured sinusoidal voltage by means of comparator. Duration of pulses are determined by moments when sinusoidal pulses cross threshold level within limits of one half-wave.
