PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a music distribution system that receives music data of desired music from a music distributing center installed outside and enables the music to directly be listened to through an audio function part, and the music distributing center. SOLUTION: Disclosed is an image forming apparatus characterized in that: a user terminal equipped with an audio function section enabling music data to be listened to and the music distributing center equipped with a downloading function section downloading the music data from a music data server and a music data storing function section storing the downloaded music data on a recording medium are connected together through a 1st communication network; and the music data server equipped with a search function section searching the recording medium for music data corresponding to request data of a request from the music distributing center based upon a music name and a transmission/reception section sending the searched music data to the music distributing center and the music distributing center are connected together through a 2nd communication network.
