PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an attachment method of a terminal capable of ensuring that contact pressure, between the terminal after attachment and a part, is not smaller than a predetermined value. SOLUTION: While lowering a pressure punch 31 to press the terminal 7 in the component 6, a press-in dimension is measured by a measurement part 4, and the pressing-in is stopped at a predetermined dimension (tentative press-in process); continuity between the terminal and the component is checked by a continuity inspection part 5 in this state (continuity check process); and the pressure punch is further lowered only for the terminal to which continuity is confirmed, to regularly press the terminal in the component; and the pressing-in is ended at a point in time the press-in dimension becomes a final value at which the terminal is pressed in to a final position (regular press-in process).
