PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a constant voltage circuit capable of realizing high speed response with respect to an abrupt change in an input voltage or in a load current. SOLUTION: Normally, a first error amplifier AMP1 with excellent direct current characteristic performs operation control of an output voltage control transistor M1 to make an output voltage Vout constant. In case that the output voltage Vout is abruptly reduced, prior to the operation control of the transistor M1 by the first error amplifier AMP1 in response thereto, a second error amplifier AMP2 with excellent high-speed responsiveness performs the operation control of the transistor M1 for a predetermined period to make the output voltage Vout constant.
