<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance output density, while preventing deformation caused by thermal stress. <P>SOLUTION: A large number of separator units 1 and cell units 3 are laminated alternately, and both the upper and the lower end parts of this laminate are held between fixing members 5, 7 and fastened with a bolt 9 and a nut 11. A hydrogen gas passage 15 and an air gas passage 17 are provided in the center part and on its outside, respectively. In the separator unit 1, a separator 21 is jointed to a disk-shaped separator side gas distributing member 19. The separator 21 has a disk part 23 jointing to the separator side gas distribution member 19 and a taper part 25 on its periphery. In the cell unit 3, an electrolyte 29 is jointed onto a disk-shaped cell side gas distribution member 27. The electrolyte 29 has a disk part 31 jointing the cell side gas distribution member 27, and a taper part 33 on its outside. An air electrode and a fuel electrode are provided on both upper and lower surfaces of the taper part 33, and collectors 39, 41 are disposed between the air electrode, the fuel electrode and the separator 21. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
