<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect the privacy of an intended party of a TV telephone call or video communication in a personal digital assistant. <P>SOLUTION: A mobile phone is equipped with a video input whose connection with a TV receiver through a cable permits motion pictures and sounds outputted to the TV receiver. The mobile phone enables a TV telephone call. The pictures and the sounds that have been transmitted from the terminal of the intended party through the telephone call are also outputted to the TV receiver 150. During the TV telephone call, when the cable is connected with the video input, information for informing that the pictures and the sounds that have been transmitted from the intended party are transmitted at the terminal of the intended party of the TV telephone call.
