A femoral head cap implant (10) has a pick-up coil (18) having two terminals (18a, 18b) in which a low-frequency alternating current is inducible is arranged in a pin (14), the one terminal of the pick-up coil being coupled to a cap component (12) and the other to a second tissue electrode. A femoral head cap implant has a cap component for covering a diseased hip joint head; and a pin insertable into a femoral neck bone for fixing the cap component atop the hip joint head, where cap component and pin comprise a tissue-compatible metal, and where a pick-up coil having two terminals in which a low-frequency alternating current is inducible is arranged in the pin, the one terminal of the pick-up coil being coupled to the cap component and the other to a second tissue electrode.
