PAPER CONVEYANCE DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING DEVICE

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper conveyance device capable of preventing erroneous detection of a sensor caused by adhesion of dirt such as paper powders by a low cost cleaning mechanism.

SOLUTION: In a configuration of the paper conveyance device having an edge sensor 24 for detecting a side edge of a paper sheet on a conveyance path for the paper sheet and a sensor moving mechanism for moving the edge sensor 24 in the orthogonal direction to the conveyance direction of the paper sheet, a brush 45 for cleaning a sensor face 24A of the edge sensor 24 is provided in a part where the edge sensor 24 moving to a home position passes within a movable scope for moving the edge sensor 24 by the sensor moving mechanism to remove dirt adhered to the sensor face 24A by the brush 35 periodically.
