<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the properties with respect to the angle of view of the phase compensation device of a liquid crystal display unit. <P>SOLUTION: The method includes a process 1 for forming a solution system by selecting high molecular polymer and nm-specification particulates, a process 2 of forming a thin film by applying the solution system after finishing reaction to a base plate, a process 3 of drying the thin film, a process 4 for heating the thin film and a process 5 of producing optically compensated films, having the respectively different coefficient values of birefringence, in compliance with respectively different tensile conditions. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
