The device has a lug (11) with contact points (18) at which electric arcs are formed during failure of tightening of a screw (14), so that a part (2A) of the lug is at a high temperature greater than 250 degree Celsius. The part (2A) is connected to a central part (1) of the lug, so that the heat is propagated to the central part of the lug and makes it to melt. An independent claim is also included for an electric assembly comprising an electric connection device.
