PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for casting blocks for efficiently forming a mound by preventing the cast blocks from widely dispersing in midway of getting to the sea bottom when forming the mound by casting the blocks from a vessel to the sea bottom. SOLUTION: A plurality of blocks B are arranged in a grid pattern to divide a hold 2 into a plurality of parts in left and right direction and longitudinal direction of a hull 1 with a hull width direction as a center. The plurality of blocks B forming a line L in the hull width direction on each of left and right both sides are made as a block group G. The blocks B are fixed and held to a hull 1 for every block group G. The four block groups G adjacent in front, rear, left and right directions are made as a division A. A step for simultaneously casting the diagonally located blocks B of the block group G in the division A and casting the remaining diagonally located blocks B of the block group G is successively for each division A, after positioning the one section A by being moved to a block casting position center.
