<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of avoiding waste printing by considering a printing configuration and a printing condition of a printing paper. <P>SOLUTION: This image forming apparatus comprises a both-side unit 2 and a print detection means 22 for detecting presence or absence of a printed result, provided on a paper path where a printing paper is fed from a paper supply unit 21.
