<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continue the communication of a client even if an SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) server falls into congestion. <P>SOLUTION: A communication gateway device using this relay method is connected to a client device and a SIP server device which manages the connection information of the client device through a network. The device stores an SIP-URI (SIP-Uniform Resource Identifier) of a client device and a contact address included in a REGISTER request from the client device to the SIP server device as setting information, responds to the reception of an INVITE request that is a SIP method for starting a session from the client device to the other client device, refers to the setting information, and transfers an INVITE request to the other client device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
