<p>Quantitative detection of biological contaminants (I) in complex cell mixtures, is new. Quantitative detection of biological contaminants (I) in complex cell mixtures comprises: (a) treating a sample of the cell mixture with a first antibody (Ab1), directed against (I) and labeled with a fluorescent dye, so that Ab1 binds to (I); (b) treating the sample with a second antibody (Ab2), directed against either (I) or Ab1 and coupled to a magnetic particle (MP), so that Ab2 binds; (c) applying a magnetic field; (d) transferring MP to a flow cytometer; and (e) detecting the fluorescent MP, bonded to (I) through Ab2.</p> |
