PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a joint slides due to the weight of a piece of electronic equipment when the electronic equipment is installed at the end of a flexible pipe via a ball joint, like a car navigation system. SOLUTION: The ball joint comprises a housing, in which a plurality of slits or channels are located parallel in an inner chamber while the housing is having an opening portion and the inner chamber of a substantially spherical portion, and a ball stud, in which at least one or more projected portions are provided on the face of a spherical head portion. The ball joint is meshed with the projected portion and the slit or the channel so that the ball joint prevents the joint from sliding, allowing a clicking sound to be given at the time of operation.
