PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a standing type radiographic stand capable of immediately stopping descending of an image receiving part when a load is applied to the image receiving part, and letting the ascending of the image receiving part continue, in vertically moving the image receiving part by the driving of a motor. SOLUTION: When a load is applied by a subject, etc., to the image receiving part 2, the load is applied to the motor 7 via a pulley 3 and a belt 6, and the electric current of the motor 7 is increased. The value of the electric current is detected by a current detection circuit 22; if the detected value is a limited value or above, the signal is transmitted to a discrimination circuit 25. Signals in the upper and lower moving directions from a potentiometer 8 are detected by an upper/lower moving direction detection circuit 24, and are transmitted to the discrimination circuit 25. When the image receiving part 2 is moved downward, the discrimination circuit 25 transmits a signal to a shut-off circuit 23 to cut the power source of a driving power supply 21 so that the image receiving part 2 is immediately stopped.
