PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reinforcement structure of a front side member capable of reinforcing the front side member without being accompanied with weight increase, by efficiently utilizing the stiffening function of a dash cross member. SOLUTION: A lower surface section 1b of the front side member 1 extending in the longitudinal direction of a vehicle body on both sides of vehicle width direction of the front part of the vehicle body is flatly aligned and continuously connected to a lower surface section 3c of the dash cross member 3 that connects to the lower surface 2b of a dash panel 2, extends in the vehicle width direction, interconnects right and left front side members 1, and forms a closed cross section between it and the dash panel 2. Thus, torsional moment M1 acting on the front side member 1 can be received in the surface of the lower surface section 3c of the dash cross member 3, so that the torsional stiffness of the front side member 1 can be improved.
