SHAPING METHOD OF ENERGY-CURABLE TYPE RESIN, AND RESIN SHAPING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve transferability of a shaped article in shaping an energy-curable type resin. SOLUTION: The shaping method of the resin comprises casting a resin 60 via a resin casting passage 26a and a gate 26b into a cavity 61 between a fixed side mirror surface piece 24 and a movable side mirror surface piece 25, and shaping the resin by pressurizing it with the movable side mirror surface piece 25 while irradiating ultraviolet rays 31a emitted from a main UV light source 31. After completion of casting the resin 60 and before pressurization with the movable side mirror surface piece 25, the resin 60 existing in the gate 26b is cured by ultraviolet rays 32a irradiated via an optical fiber 33 from a sub-UV light source 32 to clog the resin casting passage 26a and prevent the resin 60 in the cavity 61 in the vicinity of the gate 26b from being distorted due to the reverse flow of the resin in the resin casting passage 26a during pressurization. The uniform pressurization of the resin 60 in the cavity 61 produces the shaped article showing good transferability. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
