PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silver halide color sensitive material with a small variation of Dmin due to high sensitivity, wide latitude, and irregularity of a developing processing condition. SOLUTION: The silver halide color sensitive material includes a red photosensitive emulsion layer containing a cyan coupler of at least one layer, a green photosensitive emulsion layer containing a magenta coupler, and a blue photosensitive emulsion layer containing a yellow coupler on a support respectively. (1) In a LogE (light amount) versus coloring density curve, an inclination (γ) of a magenta coloring layer of a straight line connecting a point giving a density of Dmin+0.1 and a density point in an only 1.5 higher light amount (LogE<SB>1</SB>+1.5) than light amount (LogE<SB>1</SB>) giving the density is in the range of 0.53-0.65. (2) At least one photosensitive emulsion layer from among the green photosensitive emulsion layer contains silver halide particles in which a pigment coloring group adsorbs in a multi-layer on the surface of the silver halide particles.
