The locking element (10) has a wall (14) which has an automatic locking slit-type inlet (141). The inlet (141) locks nuclear-tight in the closed position. Fixing devices are present which are adjacent to the wall (14) and the locking element (10) is connected to a connection (42) by means of a fixing device. Locking element (10) is used for sterilizing lock of connections (42), especially of connections (42) of filter modules for dialysis, heamo- or ultra-filtration.
