PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold with exhaust holes and a method for molding molded components. SOLUTION: The mold (200) has a lid (205) and a bowl (210) which can be releasably engaged together so as to define a mold cavity, wherein the lid is equipped with (i) exhaust holes (220) having a passage to let gas out from the mold cavity and (ii) a plurality of grooves connected to these exhaust holes. Adoption of the plurality of grooves/slots on the surface of the mold cavity serves as a siphon for drawing gas efficiently out from the composition to be molded.
