PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate installation of an apparatus inside a mobile unit, while relaxing the arrangement spaces of devices constituting a receiver of road traffic information and compacting the whole of the apparatus. SOLUTION: The components of the receiver are divided and arranged into a case 1 for mounting a circuit substrate storing unit 11 and switches 12, and a panel 2 for mounting a solar panel storing unit 21 and a GPS 221, where the case 1 and the panel 2 can be opened and closed by a hinge 101. The case 1 is composed of a thickness portion and a thinness portion, where the circuit substrate storing unit 11 is arranged in the thickness portion and the switches 12 are arranged in the thinness portion, and the thickness portion of the GPS 221 provided in the solar panel storing unit 21 is designed so as to face the thinness portion 12 of the switches of the case 1.
