<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dissipate heat generated from an electric component mounted on the case body efficiently without lowering waterproof performance in a cover being applied to the case body of an electric connection box. <P>SOLUTION: In the electric connection box 10 being placed in the engine room of an automobile, an upper cover 12 being applied to a case body 11 containing the internal circuit is provided with an opening 12b.
