PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent ball clogging in a ball supply path for supplying game balls to a ball hitting mechanism and to reduce manufacture costs. SOLUTION: A ball supplier of a vertical type pinball machine comprises: a belt conveyor mechanism 61 provided such that the upper surface 64a of an endless belt 64 constitutes a part of the ball supply path 10; a conveyor driving motor 65 for driving the belt conveyor mechanism 61 in the direction of carrying and moving the game balls B which enter a recessed part 64c on the endless belt 64 to the side of the ball hitting mechanism 30; a ball feed route 37a for guiding the game balls B which separate and fall from the endless belt 64 at the end part of the belt conveyor mechanism 61 to a prescribed ball hitting position in the ball hitting mechanism 30; and a synchronization control means for synchronizing the hitting operation of the game balls B by the ball hitting mechanism 30 and the feed operation of the endless belt 53 by the conveyor driving motor 65 so as to supply the game balls B which pass through the ball feed route 37a to the ball hitting position matched with the ball hitting operation of the ball hitting mechanism 30.
