PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sleeve for molten metal tapping hole smoothly making flow out the molten metal in a converter. SOLUTION: The sleeve 2 for molten metal tapping hole, is provided with an inner peripheral wall surface for forming the molten metal tapping hole 20 for spouting the molten metal, and formed of 2-12 pieces of recessed parts 3 having 5-30 mm depth, over the length of≥1/4 of the total length of the sleeve, on the inner peripheral wall surface. The recessed parts 3 are formed in a spiral state having 30-360°spinning angle according to progressing in the axial length direction of the molten metal tapping hole 20. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
