<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of recovering the deteriorated surface of an FRP or enameled bathtub while increasing the strength, and a surface-reinforced FRP or enameled bathtub with reinforced surface. <P>SOLUTION: The bathtub 1 is recovered by the method comprising a polishing process for forming a polished surface 2 by polishing the surface of the bathtub 1, an under-coating process for forming an under-coat layer 3 by coating the polished surface 2 with epoxy acrylate resin 11, a reinforcing process for forming a reinforced layer 4 by pasting a carbon cloth 8 to the under-coat layer 3, and an over-coating process for forming a protection layer 5 by coating the reinforced layer 4 with epoxy acrylate resin 11.
