<p>In a telephone system, if, in a state that slave units (220,240,250) can communicate with a master unit (100), while slave units (210,230) cannot communicate with the master unit (100), a sixth slave unit (260) is added, then common programming information is updated in the master unit (100), and thereafter the common programming information is updated in the slave units (220,240,250,260). Thereafter, when the slave units (210,230) become able to communicate with the master unit (100) and/or slave units (220,240,250,260), they receive the common programming information. That is, the slave units (210,230) receive the common programming information, which has been updated after the previous updating of common programming information stored in them, and then have their common programming information updated by use of the received one.</p> |
