IP TELEPHONE SYSTEM AND APPARATUS, AND CALLING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To deal with a plurality of protocols flexibly so as to call via an IP network and to reduce loads on CA (call agent) installed on the IP network.

SOLUTION: The IP telephone system comprises: an IP telephone apparatus A101 for calling by voice via the IP network or a PSTN network; the CA 106 for managing the voice call via the IP network in the IP telephone apparatus A101; and an ENUM server 109 for returning an NAPTR resource record in accordance with an inquiry from the IP telephone apparatus A101. In the system, in calling by voice from the IP telephone apparatus A101, the NAPTR resource record corresponding to an IP telephone apparatus B102 is inquired of the ENUM server 109, the IP network or a PSTN network is selected as a call path according to contents of the NAPTR resource record, and the voice call is made.
