PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic transfer paper sheet which is light in weight and is improved in a running performance in a transfer part under all environments without decreasing the image density of an image to be formed, and to provide an image forming method using the paper sheet. SOLUTION: The electrophotographic transfer paper sheet has an image receiving surface formed of a coating layer containing a pigment and an adhesive on at least one side of its base material containing pulp fiber. The basis weight of the electrophotographic transfer paper is≥40 g/m to≤100 g/m. When a bending resistance in a CD direction is A[mN m], a smoothness is B[sec] and a volume electric resistivity is C[Ωcm], and the A, the B and the C in the case performing a seasoning under the environment of 10°C/15%RH and 23°C/50%RH satisfy 1.0×10<SP>-2</SP>≤/(logB×logC)≤3.0×10<SP>-2</SP>.
