SUCTION NOZZLE FOR VACUUM CLEANER AND VACUUM CLEANER USING IT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suction nozzle for a vacuum cleaner that improves a dust collection performance by easily generating negative ions by a very simple mechanism and by efficiently diffusing them to a cleaned surface. SOLUTION: The vacuum cleaner has brushes 16 and 17 provided in a dust-sucking opening portion 2 opened downward or in the vicinity of the opening portion 2 and composed of brushes whose charging sequences are different. The brushes 16 and 17 whose charging sequences are different generate negative ions by rotating, rubbing each other. The brushes charged in different sequence unerringly contact each other and therefor can generate negative ions by a simple mechanism. The brushes efficiently make the negative ions adhere to dust on a cleaned surface by directly contacting the cleaned surface. The rotation of the brushes increases the capacity to scrape up dust and provides a suction nozzle for a vacuum cleaner whose dust collection performance is improved. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
