Satellite reception channel information (810) is described in random order in a network information table (NIT). Frequency arrangement in a re-distribution facility in a co-listening system is defined to be in the ascending order of the frequency for each network. In a reception device, frequency (753) of the satellite reception channel information (810) is arranged in the ascending order and registered in the reception frequency (831) of a frequency conversion table (830). Moreover, in the reception device, a station is selected according to the cable frequency (822) of the cable channel (821) in the cable frequency table (820) and the cable frequency of the channel which can be received normally is registered in the conversion frequency (832) of the frequency conversion table (830). Thus, in the co-listening system, the reception device manages correlation between the frequency information contained in the broadcast signal before re-distribution and the re-distributed frequency of the signal actually transmitted via a cable. |
