PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot air heater preventing burn injury due to contact by mistake by rapidly reducing a surface temperature of a louver provided on a hot air supply opening when heating is stopped, and to suppress adherence of refuse and dust to the louver. SOLUTION: The hot air heater is provided with a heating part 3 generating high temperature gas provided in a body 1, the hot air blow-off opening 8 blowing out the high temperature gas generated by the heating part 3 outside the body 1, the louver 9 provided on the hot air blow-off opening 8, and a hot air blower 7 blowing out the high temperature gas of the heating part 3.
