PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealed ball bearing capable of improving a concentricity between a raceway groove and a seal groove, an axial runout of the seal groove, and a manufacturing method of a raceway for improving a roughness of a sliding surface of the seal groove and a sealing property of a seal, and for reducing torque. SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method for the raceway ring of the sealed ball bearing comprising a process for heat-treating a raw material of the raceway ring for the ball bearing forming the raceway groove with a machining process or a forging process, and a process for grinding the raceway groove of the raw material which completes the heat-treating, the manufacturing method also includes a process for grinding a seal groove.
