PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To apply a windbreak function to a multipurpose type electronic scale without adding special components. SOLUTION: A recessed part 4 having the planar shape approximately same as that of a weighting dish 2 is formed on an upper part of an electronic scale 1. Almost the whole of weighting dish 2 is put in the recessed part 4 by being connected with a load transmitting part 3 formed on the recessed part 4, thus the lack of stability in measurement caused by air flow can be prevented. Further an opening part is formed on the recessed part by demounting a detachable side wall 5, so that the dust and moisture accumulated in the recessed part can be discharged to the external from the opening part.
