PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorescent detecting device and the like capable of obtaining an image of desired contrast in a wide dynamic range without setting various measurement parameters affecting the image quality of a measured image, and easily comparing the images. SOLUTION: This fluorescent detecting device comprises a means for sensing an optical signal from a sample on the basis of a laser beam and converting the same into an electric signal, a means for setting the sensitivity to the optical signal in photoelectric conversion or the amplification factor of the conversion to the electric signal, a means for setting a value of the contracting density information optimum for monitoring the sample as a contracting density information target value, a means for acquiring the contrasting density information corresponding to the three-dimensional information except for X-Y direction of a two-dimensional scanning in a state that the sensitivity or the amplification factor is constant, and a means for adjusting the sensitivity or the amplification factor set on the basis of the sensitivity or the amplification factor set at the present time, the set contrasting density information target value, and the acquired contrasting density information.
